Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Teacher Assistant. The Teacher Assistant will assist in day-to-day tasks such as supporting the lead teacher in classroom instruction, facilitating group activities, providing one-on-one assistance to students, and assisting with classroom management. The Teacher Assistant will also help the lead teacher prepare materials and maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
Qualifications and requirements
- Assistant Teaching and Education skills
- Communication skills
- A good command of the English Language
- Experience working with children
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other staff
- Positive attitude and a passion for education
- A diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (preferred)
- A minimum requirement of G.C.E A/Ls
- 6-month teaching experience (preferred)
- Ability to work on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday
